An Opportunity to Explore the Meaning of Life

Anyone can come.

Learning and laughter. Alpha is an opportunity to learn about the Christian faith in a relaxed environment.

Pasta (or other great food!) Each weekly session begins with dinner.

Helping one another. Dinner is followed by a large group talk then small group discussions.

Ask anything. Alpha provides a comfortable atmosphere to ask questions and express opinions.

Alpha is for everyone!
It’s especially geared toward people interested in investigating Christianity,
new Christians interested in growing in their faith,
and old Christians interested in brushing up on the basics.

     Week 1 – Sept. 15: Who is Jesus?

     Week 2 – Sept. 22: Why Did Jesus Die?

     Week 3 – Sept. 29: How Can We Have Faith?

     Week 4 – Oct. 6: Why and How Do I Pray?

     Week 5 – Oct. 13: Why and How Should I Read the Bible?

     Week 6 – Oct. 20: How Does God Guide Us?

     Weekend Retreat – Oct. 28 and 29:

         Who Is the Holy Spirit?

         What Does the Holy Spirit Do?

         How Can I Be Filled with the Holy Spirit?

         How Can I Make the Most of the Rest of My Life?

     Week 7 – Nov. 3: How Can I Resist Evil?

     Week 8 – Nov. 10: Why and How Should I Tell Others?

     Week 9 – Nov. 17: Does God Heal Today?

     Week 10 – Dec. 1: What about the Church?

Each Alpha evening will include:

     - Dinner (Come hungry!)

     - Large group presentation

     - Small group discussion and dessert!

Beginning September 15th and ending December 1, 2011, the Alpha Course will meet each Thursday from

6:00-8:00 pm at Trinity E. C. Church located at 44 East Orange Street in Lititz (across from Lititz Elementary).

If you think you might be interested in the Alpha Course, please join us for a Kickoff Dinner on Thursday, Sept. 1st at 6:00 pm. The Kickoff Dinner is your opportunity to first see what Alpha is all about and then decide whether you would like to participate in the 10 week program.
