Sr. Choir Director
Since
a child, Eileen has enjoyed listening to and performing many types of music.
When asked why she chose a degree in Music Education, she jokes, “It’s the
only subject I did well in!” She has used her education primarily
within the church by directing Jr. and Sr. choirs and a variety of small
vocal and instrumental ensembles for more than 25 years.
Upon moving to Lititz in August of 2002, where her husband Frank is President of
Moravian Manor Retirement Community, she was hired to be the Sr. Choir Director
here at Trinity. Frank and Eileen have three grown children:
Christopher, living in Colorado; Koren, working as a Lebanon County MHMR case
worker; and Joel, a student at Penn State.
In her home, Eileen also enjoys teaching private flute and piano students.
She also likes traveling with Frank, working in the yard and playing volleyball.
“Great is Thy Faithfulness” is one of Eileen’s favorite hymns. She finds
the following reasons to praise God expressed in this hymn:
God is faithful
He never changes
He pardons me from sin
He gives me peace
His Holy Spirit cheers me on and guides me
“Great is Thy
faithfulness! Great is Thy faithfulness!
Morning by morning new mercies I see;
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided—
Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me!”
