David Heffner was born and raised in Reading, PA. He served as a pastor in the Evangelical Congregational Church for 44 years before retiring in June, 2002.  He served as Part-time pastor of Senior Ministries here at Trinity before re-retiring at the year end 2006. He and his wife, Ruth Jean, are endeavoring to minister to those 60 years of age and above, to have them help mentor others and serve others in various ways.
